WTF? did you even know these things existed? i had no idea. tonight while over my nana's house, i was talking to my brother's girlfriend who also has a chihuahua. she was telling me about the coyotes in exeter and then my mom piped up to tell me that there are coyotes right here in newport! now i figured that they were definitely on the island but the sightings she was telling me about were places like stop & shop, salve, broadway, etc. so of course i am all freaked out now that a coyote is going to come out of nowhere and eat bobo one day. i come home, tell jesse and he immediately goes to internet to read about coyotes. mean dudes they are. then we see the coydog link. apparently in places like arizona & oklahoma, they breed with domesticated dogs because of the longer warm weather (read: mating) season. why would you want a coydog? i would be so afraid he would rip my face off in my sleep! this also got me reading about coywolves. yes people, this is how i spend my christmas night.

i hope bobo doesn't get eaten.
