Dude, it is so hot today. I hate it.

This weekend was interesting, I made my first outing since moving back home and it was pretty okay. I had a total anxiety attack before leaving the house 1) because I never go out and people in general make me nervous, and 2) My friends band that was playing was sporting my ex boyfriend on lead guitar. It was totally fine though. However, I did see another old boyfriend who was very very drunk and it was very very unappealing. You know those guys in high school that are super hot and then they turn out to be bloated unhappily married tradesmen? Yep, that was him. I mean, I still consider him a friend but he's sadly mistaken if he thinks there's any 'magic' left between us. Yikes. I saw so many people I haven't seen in years though, and that was really great.

So the show was amazing. It was like a fucking oven in there but totally worth the sweat. If you are so inclined, you should check them out because they rule.

We took Violet to the beach yesterday. She's still kind of medium about it. She liked when I buried her feet in the sand and that was about it. She was pretty pissed when I put her feet in the water and spent the bulk of the time staring out at the ocean with this really contemplative look on her face. She so effing cute.
